How photographers and videographers use it

From the booking to the delivery

Description, gear and schedule lead every shoot page; the band sections stay out of the way.

Step 1

Create the shoot

Date, location, client and shoot type (photo, video or both). Description first, then the gear and the schedule, in that order on the page.

Step 2

Gear per shoot

Your bodies, lenses, lights and audio in Gear, with categories and locations. Book what goes on each shoot and print the pack list.

Step 3

Second shooters and assistants

Add people per shoot with a role. They confirm from their phone, see the schedule and the location, and chat on the shoot. A one-off assistant can be a guest on that shoot only.

Step 4

Files and notes

Mood boards, shot lists, contracts and call sheets attached to the sections they belong to. Private notes stay with the team.

Step 5

The day itself

The schedule and the chat with push notifications, offline on the phone before you reach a venue without signal.

Step 6

Offers and invoices

Offer per shoot, invoice when the delivery is out, timesheets and settlements for the people you brought.

For your crew and clients

What everyone on a shoot gets

  1. 1

Second shooters and assistants: the shoot on their dashboard and calendar, the schedule, the location, the files and the chat.

  2. 2

Clients: a portal link with the details of their shoot, no login.

  3. 3

Freelancers: one shoot at a time as a guest, free.

  4. 4

You: which gear is out on which dates, across every shoot.

Good to know

Same platform, your words

  • Inventory is called Gear here and is on from the start; setlists and riders are off.
  • The shoot type shows on the events list and the dashboard, so a week reads at a glance.
  • Also a fit for production companies that rent out services with their gear.
  • Runs on the band plans; add members at $2 each beyond the included seats.
